Welcome to the Canadian International Immunization Initiative’s On-Line Technical Experts’ Database! 

At the Canadian International Immunization Initiative (CIII-2), our core mandate is to inform Canadians of our International work in preventing infectious diseases and to encourage Canadian health professionals (public health nurses, physicians, epidemiologists, data managers, communications managers) with extensive experience in the areas of immunization, disease surveillance, epidemiology, data management and communications to explore the challenges and opportunities of international development work.  We accomplish our goals by recruiting and supporting these professionals for temporary assignments in Africa, Asia, Latin America and in Eastern Europe.  CIII-2 supports partner ministries of health in enhancing their national childhood immunization systems and advocates locally and internationally for strong immunization programs.

CIII offers the opportunity to work overseas for various periods of time.  The ability to work in French and other languages, as well as previous intercultural experiences, are strong assets. For the selected professionals CIII will cover all related expenses. These opportunities are considered on a voluntary basis. Professional fees may be issued on a case-by-case basis.  Only short listed candidates will be contacted.
